Who we are
The founders of icognium, Pavlos Krontiras, MBA and Barbara Sigala, PhD, have over 35 years of combined experience in the technology space, and almost 60 of overall combined professional experience. Prior to establishing icognium, Mr. Krontiras and Dr. Sigala ran a successful consultancy based in London, UK for over a decade, working with leading global organisations such as:
- WPP – London, UK
- John Lewis & Partners – London, UK
- Vodafone – London, UK
- Galleries Lafayette – Paris, France
- Wehkamp – Zwolle,The Netherlands
- Ellos (Redcats Group) – Götenborg, Sweden
Shortly after returning to Greece following 30 years of academic studies and professional careers in the USA and UK, Mr. Krontiras and Dr. Sigala established icognium to continue their success with a new focus on Digital Transformation, Cloud Technologies, and AI Business Enablement.
Mr. Krontiras holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Brown University in Providence, RI USA, and an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.
Dr. Sigala holds a double Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Bio-Chemistry and a PhD in Bio-Chemistry from Imperial College in London, UK.
